Tertiary students from all over the country came out in large number to attend the Entrepreneur Programme that was held at the OR Tambo building in Pretoria
It was brought by the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) in partnership with the Department of International Relations and Corporation.
The programme was aimed at empowering the youth to become independent of state assistance by encouraging and exposing them to the various entrepreneurship opportunities and programmes that exist.
Branch level coordinator of programmes, Sello Maake of the ANCYL encouraged the unemployed youth to use the skill acquired at school to start community projects.
One of the attendances, Tsepo Maloka welcomed the initiative, but wished it could also be taken to more area around the country.
