Africa's First RadioTV


Planet RadioTV combines the best of radio and TV
Planet Image Productions this week launched Planet RadioTV (PRTV), Africa's first RadioTV offering, based in Johannesburg. PRTV is an online radio and television service that is broadcasted live on television, radio and online streaming, which means you can constantly stay connected through a mobile device. Targeting 18 to 40 year old listeners, the station focuses on African music with its broadcast offering split between 80% African music and 20% international music.

"At PRTV we intend to change the way consumers view, listen and interact with television, radio and Internet mediums. It is an exciting platform that synchronises three mediums providing outstanding opportunities for consumers and advertisers alike," says Mabel Mabaso, chief operations officer and director at Planet Image Productions.

David Guetta, Akon Arrive In SA


David Guetta and Akon have arrived in South Africa for The St Yves Music festival happening in Cape Town tonight and Johannesburg tomorrow.
The powerful duo will be supported by American DJs Joe Bermudez and DJ Jenny LaFemme, as well as  South Africa’s Jax Panik and DJ Dean Fuel.
Guetta has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. He is currently one of the most sought-after music producers in the whole world.
Meanwhile organisers have announced a list of rules for the festival:
Friday 14 October
Thunder City
Cape Town

-    Secure Parking is charged at R30 per car.
-    No drinks, food or any other items will be allowed into the venue.
-    There are full bars and food stalls inside the venue
-    A strict policy of NO Under 18s will be maintained.
-    Apart from parking at the venue, there are also various other parking options in the vicinity with Park&Ride options.
-    Please follow signage from Airport Approach Road off N2 (take Borchard’s Quarry offramp) to the venue.

Saturday 15 October
Wild Waters
Johannesburg

-    Secure parking is available at the venue for Golden Circle and HP Cintron Premier VVIP ticketholders.
-    Parking is also available at East Rand Mall, The Palms Centre and K90 Centre.
-    No drinks, food or any other items will be allowed into the venue.
-    There are full bars and food stalls inside the venue
-    A strict policy of NO Under 18s will be maintained.
