Kaizer Chiefs have appointed a former Bafafa Bafafa coach to fill the club's vacant coaching position starting from next season.
Cheifs yesterday announced that they have come in agreement with Stuart Baxter will be taking over as coach. Amakhosi confirmed the news on the club's official website and as well twitter account. Baxter will take over the coaching reigns at Naturena from next season.
He was incharge of South Africa's national team in 2004 and 2005 but was sacked after South Africa fail to qualify for the 2006 World Cup. Chiefs chairmain, Kaizer Motaung added that Baxter will fit well into the clubs strategies going forward due to his wealth of knowledge.
The struggling Chiefs last Wednesday won 2- 0 against Sundowns in the ABSA Premier Soccer League. The win came after broking the teams losing strick after losing four match conservatively with their caretaker, Doctor Khumalo.
Amakhosi are curently on position six with 43 points and left with only three games on their hand
