Lira and Zahara At Maponya Mall

Soweto’s most buzzing shopping centre will celebrate its fourth birthday with two of the most sought-after songbirds in South Africa.

Lira and Zahara are expected to attract thousands of music lovers to the popular Mall on Sunday, 2 October, 2011.The event is free.

Mall marketing manager Mandisa Mzizi says: "We want to say a huge thanks to the people of Soweto for their support. We could not celebrate four years of success without our loyal patrons and we are looking forward to hosting them at the celebrations at which South Africa's songbirds Lira and Zahara will perform."
Last year's birthday celebrations featured Black Coffee, who played for 60 hours in a bid to break a DJ world record.
